In mid 2013, the constitution of the College changed forever when Ben joined the team. Ben is a core player in the ACOP team and manages the qualification and licensing process for students wishing to gain their qualifications. In 2017, Ben left the College to focus on his future by enrolling into University. In 2020, we were all extremely happy to hear that Ben would be returning to work on a part-time basis, whilst studying.
Ben is a front-line contact for students seeking Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as part of gaining their qualification. Ben’s role spans from the initial enquiry, booking students into an individually tailored program, and preparing all of the documentation for the qualification committee. Ben’s ability to work in a high volume and high-pressure area, in a very calm manner is a credit to such a young man.
On a sporting level, Ben suffers in the environment of mostly Sea Eagles supporters in the College, as he continues to fanatically support his beloved Panthers. We congratulate him for his tenacity in not giving in to peer pressure. Ben is interested in almost any sporting event that he can be involved with, in particular cricket – which means that during the summer months, you can always find Ben in the training room at lunch times with the television on and watching whatever cricket match is being played that day.
