CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice
The Australian College of Professionals conducts a full VIC Agent’s Representative program for people to undertake an in-depth study of the entire real estate process. This is a practical-based course and provides course participants with opportunities to acquire and practice new skills in all areas relating to real estate.
An agent’s representative is employed by or acts for a licensed estate agent, and with written authority, can perform any of the legal functions of that estate agent, To become an Agent’s Representative in Victoria, you need to complete the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice qualification and your employer will make an application the business.gov.au

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
If you believe that you have the skills, knowledge and competence in any of the module areas, then you can discuss this with an Assessor at the College who can provide you with an Evidence Guide that gives you the details of the types of evidence that you need to provide for the Units of Competency for which you intend to apply for RPL for your real estate licence.

Our Victorian Agent’s Representative modules are offered online.
You will be provided with a username and password to access your course through our online Student Portal system.
It is important to ensure that you store your login details safely as you can log in and out of your portal at any time.
Please note that although our online training portal is compatible with mobile phones, some of the assessment activities relating to the completion of forms can only be accessed through the Adobe Reader Program, which means that you will be required to complete these aspects of your training using a computer, laptop or tablet.
For online study, hard-copy versions of the online content are available for purchase. If you would like a hard copy of the course content posted to you, this can be organised at a cost of $66 inc GST per course.
You will be given 3 months per module to complete this course.
There are no educational entry requirements in order to undertake the training course, however, in order to apply for an Agent’s Representative through Business Licensing Authority, you must meet all of their criteria. These are:
- be at least 18 years old
- have completed a course prescribed under the Estate Agents (Education) Regulations 2020. This is the CPP41419 – Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice qualifcation.
- not have been found guilty of any offence involving fraud, dishonesty, drug trafficking or violence punishable by three months or more imprisonment (whether or not a jail term was imposed), within the last 10 years
- not be insolvent under administration
- not be the cause of a successful claim against the Victorian Property Fund or a corresponding fund
- not be a represented person under the Guardianship and Administration Act 1986
- not be subject to a Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal declaration making you ineligible to act as an agent’s representative
- not be subject to an order by any regulatory body in or outside Victoria, disqualifying you from acting as an agent’s representative.

At the conclusion of your training course and the successful completion of all assessment tasks, you will be awarded with an Academic Testamur for the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice
