As part of a professional development program for employees in the Strata and Property Services divisions of NSW Fair Trading, a training program is being offered to cover the qualifications that are required by property agents in NSW. Whilst employees of NSW Fair Trading will not be able to make application for a property service certificate of registration or licence, as they will not possess the required experience component, this training program will cover the full qualification requirements for real estate, stock & station and strata management. The training program is being provided by the Australian College of Professionals (ACOP). ACOP is a Registered Training Organisation that has been providing property-focus qualification training since 2003. There are four options within the training program:
