On-site Residential Management
Property Services Training Package CPP
The Australian College of Professionals conducts a specific On-site Residential Management course. Within the property industry in New South Wales there is a specialised group of agents who deal solely with the management of short-term and holiday letting within residential complexes. This sector of the industry has its own processes, legislative and licensing requirements and functions as an On-Site Residential Manager.
The On-Site Residential Management module (online only) examines the process of managing short-term or holiday letting where a residential tenancy agreement is not required. This module also equips the course participant with the skills and knowledge to work as an on-site residential manager who has been contracted on behalf of the owners of a residential complex. You will also focus on the skills required to establish, maintain and evaluate safety controls for offsite and lone workers.
Pursuant to Regulation 12(3) of the Property and Stock Agents (Qualifications) Order 2019, if you do not currently hold any form of licence under the NSW Property and Stock Agents Act 2002, in order to obtain a Class 1 Real Estate Licence with the On-site Residential Property Management condition, you must gain the following:
-
- satisfactorily completed the required units of Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. The requirement for this completion includes the following nationally recognised Units of Competency:
- 5 Core Units of the qualification (covered in the Certificate of Registration module offered by ACOP)
- 4 specific Elective Units relating specifically to on-site management (3 of these are covered in the On-Site Residential Management modules offered by ACOP and the fourth Unit is covered in the Property Management module)
