Your safety and wellbeing is our highest priority. Australian College of Professionals are committed to doing all we can to make sure you have the support you need.

Wellbeing Support

Here you can find a range of information and resources to help you keep yourself healthy while at the college. From common mental health issues and support contacts, to mindfulness and general health tips, this page is designed to help you support yourself and others.

Community resources and 24-hour support is also available from the following community resources:

  • Mental Health Line (NSW) by calling  1800 011 511 – NSW Health’s 24/7 statewide phone service which links people with NSW Health mental health services. It is a free service.

  • 1800 RESPECT If you or someone you know is experiencing violence or abuse you can contact 1800RESPECT call 1800 737 732 or online chat

Mindfulness and Relaxation

Mindfulness and relaxation can be achieved over time with patience and practice. Download the smiling mind app and practice daily meditation and mindfulness on any device to exercise mindfulness. You can spend as little as 10 minutes a day on guided exercises to help reduce anxiety or stress.

Inclusion and disability

If you have a disability, medical condition, or carer responsibilities (temporary or ongoing) which may disadvantage you may be eligible for reasonable adjustments. We are available for appointments via Zoom, phone and face-to-face. Please advise which option you require when booking an appointment. Email us at enquiries@acop.edu.au. We’ll work with you to develop a personalised plan, detailing your course requirements and the recommended adjustments and one-to-one learning supports required to assist you.
