The Australian College of Professionals conducts online training program for people to complete the training required to obtain a BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business.

 

The Certificate IV in Business course is developed and delivered by current industry professionals and solicitors. This means that students are able to benefit from the analysis of real cases and scenarios and receive the most up to date knowledge of legislation and industry best practices.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed administrative skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of administrative contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

There are twelve (12) Units of Competency required to obtain the necessary skill set to obtain the BSB40120 – Certificate IV in Business qualification. These Units of Competency are:

Core Units

    • BSBCRT411     Apply critical thinking to work practices
    • BSBTEC404     Use digital technologies to collaborate in a work environment
    • BSBTWK401     Build and maintain business relationships
    • BSBWHS411    Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs
    • BSBWRT411    Write complex documents
    • BSBXCM401    Apply communication strategies in the workplace

Elective Units

    • BSBPEF402      Develop personal work priorities
    • BSBPEF502      Develop and use emotional intelligence
    • BSBHRM417    Support human resources functions and processes
    • BSBOPS401     Coordinate business resources
    • BSBOPS405     Organise business meetings
    • BSBTEC402     Design and produce complex spreadsheets

This qualification will assist you in making an application for positions such as:

    • Accounts supervisor
    • Executive personal assistant
    • Office administrator
    • Project assistant

Specialisations
This qualification of BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business, can provide for specialisations. ACOP is providing training in the specialisation of “Administration”.
The achievement of the “Administration” specialisation will be identified on your testamur as BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business (Administration).

The College is an approved provider of government subsidised training programs, and as such as the ability to offer training programs in selected qualifications in NSW through a government-funded program, known as “Smart and Skilled”.

This course is only offered online.

You will be provided with a username and password to access your course through our online Student Portal system.

It is important to ensure that you store your login details safely as you can log in and out of your portal at any time.

Please note that although our online training portal is compatible with mobile phones, some of the assessment activities relating to the completion of forms can only be accessed through the Adobe Reader Program, which means that you will be required to complete these aspects of your training using a computer, laptop or tablet.

Hard-copy versions of the online content are available for purchase. If you would like a hard copy of the course content posted to you, this can be organised at a cost of $66 inc GST per course.

You will be given 2 months to complete each Unit of Competency.

There is a total of 12 Units of Competency.

There are no educational entry requirements in order to undertake this training course.

At the conclusion of your training course and the successful completion of all assessment tasks, you will be issued with an Academic Testamur for the BSB40120  Certificate IV in Business
