The Australian College of Professionals conducts a Dual Real Estate and Stock & Station Agents Licence program for people to undertake an in-depth study of both the real estate and stock & station process. This is a practical-based course and provides course participants with opportunities to acquire and practice new skills in all areas relating to this licence.
To be eligible to make an application to NSW Fair Trading for a Class 2 Dual Real Estate and Stock & Station Agents Licence, you must have 12 month’s work experience as an Assistant Agent and can provide evidence of work experience competence from the Licensee-In-Charge.

Once you have successfully completed the required training, the College will be able to issue you with the CPP41419 – Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. This specific academic transcript will enable you to make an application to NSW Fair Trading to be granted with your Class 2 DUAL Real Estate and Stock & Station Agents Licence.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
If you believe that you have the skills, knowledge and competence in any of the module areas, then you can discuss this with an Assessor at the College who can provide you with an Evidence Guide that gives you the details of the types of evidence that you need to provide for the Units of Competency for which you intend to apply for RPL for your real estate licence.

The College is an approved provider of government subsidised training programs, and as such as the ability to offer training programs in selected qualifications in NSW through a government-funded program, known as “Smart and Skilled”.

Our Dual Real Estate and Stock & Station licence modules are offered face-to- face or online.

For face to face assessments and online study, you will be provided with a username and password to access your course through our online Student Portal system.
It is important to ensure that you store your login details safely as you can log in and out of your portal at any time.
Please note that although our online training portal is compatible with mobile phones, some of the assessment activities relating to the completion of forms can only be accessed through the Adobe Reader Program, which means that you will be required to complete these aspects of your training using a computer, laptop or tablet.
For online study, hard-copy versions of the online content are available for purchase. If you would like a hard copy of the course content posted to you, this can be organised at a cost of $66 inc GST per course.
You will be given 3 months per licence module to complete this course.
There are no educational entry requirements in order to undertake the training course, however, in order to apply for a Dual Real Estate & Stock & Station Licence through NSW Fair Trading, you must meet all of their criteria. These are:
- you must be at least 18 years of age;
- 12 months work experience as an Assistant Agent
- evidence of work experience competence from Licensee-In-Charge
- you are a fit and proper person to hold a licence;
- has the relevant qualification for the issue of the licence – which in the case of a Dual Real Estate and Stock & Station licence is the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice;
- is not a disqualified person; and
- has paid such part of any contribution or levy payable under Part 10 (Compensation Fund) as is due and payable on the granting of the licence

At the conclusion of your training course and the successful completion of all assessment tasks, you will be awarded with an Academic Testamur for the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. This specific academic testamur will enable you to make an application to NSW Fair Trading to be granted with your Class 2 Dual Real Estate and Stock & Station Agents Licence
Class 2 Licence Holders are required to complete:
- 3 hours of Mandatory CPD with compulsory topics as set by NSW Fair Trading
- 3 hours of Elective CPD with topics from a broad range of best practice issues
